wedding invitation | melissa + tj

I couldn't be happier with the clients I have been blessed with and Melissa was no exception. I really do feel like I have the best job in the whole entire world and it's people like Melissa that make my job such a joy. Melissa had a June wedding and here color palette couldn't have been more fun for a summer celebration! She chose a simple monogram design with a black satin ribbon to add that final touch. The programs were a double sided, tall and skinny design with the same black satin ribbon used in the invitations. Very simple but I think it matched the stationary perfectly!

Thank you, Melissa and TJ, for being so great to work with. I can only wish you both the best in the many years to come. I hope you're enjoying Florida!

branding | love always, anne marie

Branding for small businesses has always been exciting for me. I love watching a company grow and expand. Over the past year and a half I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with many different small business owners. Together we have designed a brand that fits their unique products/services.

My most recent client, Annie Metzger, decided to create a business called Love Always, Anne Marie.
This small business started as a college advertising project by a young group of gals who had a passion for helping others find a way to express their individuality through fashion accessories. Love Always, Anne Marie is dedicated to bringing you a wide variety of bridal, prom, and special occasion hair accessories at an affordable price. Check out the Love Always, Anne Marie Facebook page for some ideas on how to accessorize your next special occasion.

Displayed below are the price tags that were created to help brand this up and coming small business.

branding | twysted yarn

Twysted Yarn was founded by Morgan Zoeller in December 2009 when she found out she was expecting a little girl. After posting a few pictures on Facebook, she received 30 orders within a week and decided to make a business of it. Morgan then contacted me to brand her booming business. I designed a logo and some business cards for handmade items. Morgan was such a joy to work with and very easy going. I appreciated her openness to explore some "not so traditional" ideas.

Over the past six months I have watched twysted yarn flourish. New items are being posted every week with many custom orders being fulfilled. Morgan also has an etsy shop where she sells her handmade goods to patrons all over the country. I have absolutely no idea where she finds time to crochet with two children under the age of 2. She must be a superwoman or have really good time management skills! I admire her determination to be a wonderful mother and wife all while being a successful business woman.

Congratulations, Morgan! I wish you continued success and growth.

caramel flourish

Two of my very good friends, Natalie and Kade, have decided to spend the rest of their lives together. I couldn't be happier for these two. I have had the honor of watching them both mature over the years. Those of you who had the privilege of knowing Kade in his younger years never would have thought he would have grown up into such an outstanding young man. And as for Natalie, I am more than honored to call her my friend. Thanks to them both for making me a part of their special day!

Wishing Kade and Natalie many years of happiness!

delightful

It's always extra special for me to create wedding invitations for close friends. I was contacted by a long family friend, former teammate and close friend, Kristin, to create the perfect wedding invitation for her wedding day. Kristen and her fiance, Luke were so pleasant to work with. They were both laid back which makes my job that much more enjoyable. I was also highly impressed with Luke's willingness to take interest in this process as well!

Many thanks to Kristin and Luke. I hope your first year of marriage is everything you had hoped for. Wishing you all the happiness in the world!

sleek sophistication

A few months ago, I was contacted by Leah to create custom wedding invitations for her big day. Needless to say, I was more than overjoyed because I knew she would want something simple and sleek. The colors of her wedding were ivory and black and this fits her style to perfection. I was not surprised by the color selection because Leah is a quiet gal; nothing "loud" about her.

Many thanks to Leah and Eric. Wishing you many years of happiness together!

simple yet elegant

Late last summer I had the wonderful opportunity to create an invitation for two of my good friends, Randy and Jenn. They had decided to have a simple outdoor country wedding. These two are the most laid back couple I know and their wedding was a perfect representation of their style and personalities. Their wedding day could not have been any more special. Although it could have been about 20 degrees cooler!

Thank you Randy and Jennifer. Here's to many years of marital bliss!

happiness - joy - peace

This card was extra special to design for me. This specific design was custom made for my parents who were my very first greeting card clients. Although they are more traditional holiday card senders, I was able to talk them into a non-traditional color scheme consisting of plum and green!

Thanks mom and dad!

H3 - Ho! Ho! Ho!

I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to design cards that really fit my style. The use of typography is different than any other card in the collection and the colors are super fun. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

A special thanks to Sarah and Brandon for the creative freedom!

String of Lights

These cards were designed for one of the spunkiest people I know. I was more than delighted to design a special card for this gal. I knew she would be happy with anything that was presented to her but I thought something a little less traditional would fit her style perfectly. If you know Sarah I, you know exactly what I'm talking about ;)

Merry Wishes

This is the first of many posts from the 2009 Holiday Card Collection. The abstract hot pink and green wreath was an element designed for our non-traditional holiday friends.

Merry Wishes!

many thanks

I was so thankful to have been contacted by Jordanne to create her business/appointment cards that I decided to create her a set of customized thank you cards that matched her business cards. The envelope liner is my favorite part! Thank you Jordanne!

Also, a big thanks to brandy j for shooting these images!

She's back...

A few weeks back I was contacted by Jordanne, an amazing make-up artist and hair stylist, to design some business/appointment cards. I couldn't have been more excited to work with her because I knew her style and I knew she would want something bold, beautiful and exciting. She came into this project with a very open mind and she wasn't opposed to any crazy idea that I threw her way. It's always fun to work with clients who are open to different ideas and I couldn't have asked for a better client than Jordanne. She was so laid back and so amazing to work with! I'm so glad she is back from Cali and back to work at her old stomping grounds, NEXT. Thanks Jordanne, you ROCK!

A big thanks to the wonderful and super talented brandy j for photographing the above images. She is also responsible for capturing Jordanne's artistic ability which can be viewed on her blog.
