branding | twysted yarn

Twysted Yarn was founded by Morgan Zoeller in December 2009 when she found out she was expecting a little girl. After posting a few pictures on Facebook, she received 30 orders within a week and decided to make a business of it. Morgan then contacted me to brand her booming business. I designed a logo and some business cards for handmade items. Morgan was such a joy to work with and very easy going. I appreciated her openness to explore some "not so traditional" ideas.

Over the past six months I have watched twysted yarn flourish. New items are being posted every week with many custom orders being fulfilled. Morgan also has an etsy shop where she sells her handmade goods to patrons all over the country. I have absolutely no idea where she finds time to crochet with two children under the age of 2. She must be a superwoman or have really good time management skills! I admire her determination to be a wonderful mother and wife all while being a successful business woman.

Congratulations, Morgan! I wish you continued success and growth.

erin photography | branding

Branding for small businesses is one of my favorite projects. I love watching a project grow from start to finish. When Erin Hoffman (erin photography) contacted me for some design work, I was more than happy! I have known Erin for many, many years and I was so excited when given the opportunity to collaborate with her. I knew Erin would be open to many different ideas. She chose a very fresh color palette consisting of grass green and crisp white. Included in the business set are appointment cards, price lists, thank you notes, and business cards.

She's back...

A few weeks back I was contacted by Jordanne, an amazing make-up artist and hair stylist, to design some business/appointment cards. I couldn't have been more excited to work with her because I knew her style and I knew she would want something bold, beautiful and exciting. She came into this project with a very open mind and she wasn't opposed to any crazy idea that I threw her way. It's always fun to work with clients who are open to different ideas and I couldn't have asked for a better client than Jordanne. She was so laid back and so amazing to work with! I'm so glad she is back from Cali and back to work at her old stomping grounds, NEXT. Thanks Jordanne, you ROCK!

A big thanks to the wonderful and super talented brandy j for photographing the above images. She is also responsible for capturing Jordanne's artistic ability which can be viewed on her blog.
